LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Sporting Club will conclude its two-match road trip, traveling to Fresno State University Soccer Stadium in Fresno, Ca., to face off against CV Fuego FC for the first time. Kickoff is scheduled for 10 p.m. EST.
Lexington SC (3-8-5, 14 points) is coming off a loss against Charlotte Independence on the road, extending the club’s point drought to three matches. The boys in green currently stand at 10th in the league.
CV Fuego FC (3-11-1, 10 points) is coming off a 1-0 loss in Wisconsin against Forward Madison. The loss extended the club’s losing streak to five matches, the longest current losing streak in USL League One. Fuego FC is 12th in the standings.

GAME NOTES
The matchup in Fresno will mark the first time CV Fuego FC and Lexington SC have faced off. After Fuego the only club in the league Lexington SC will have never played is Union Omaha, which it hosts on July 22.
The match in Fresno concluded a two-match road stretch that started in Charlotte last weekend. Lexington SC was defeated 2-1 in North Carolina with Ates Diouf scoring the lone goal in the match for the visitors from the penalty spot.
CV Fuego FC and Lexington SC enter the match with the two longest losing streaks in the league. CV Fuego FC ties for the longest winless streak in USL League One with Chattanooga Red Wolves SC (5 matches).
Lexington SC is fourth in USL League One in interceptions per match with an average of 8.8. Terique Mohammed himself is third in the league in interceptions per 90 with 2.4. Owen Green leads the league in total interceptions with 28.
Ronald Alexis Cerritos is the man to watch for CV Fuego FC. A three-time USL League One Team of the Week honoree – and the only current multi-time honoree on Fuego’s roster – Cerritos is also the club’s leading scorer with three goals. Though Fuego has struggled to score this season, Cerritos seems to be the key to unlocking the club’s potential and any Lexington SC win will surely need to see him locked down.
