Who We Are
We believe soccer belongs to everyone. The Lexington Sporting Club Foundation is built on the conviction that where you come from should never determine how far you can go.
The beautiful game has the power to create belonging and a brighter future for young people across our community. Through scholarships, expanding soccer access across the city, holistic coaching and inclusive programming, the LSC Foundation opens doors so every child can play and thrive.
Proceeds of the Lexington Sporting Club Foundation will help fund scholarships for LSC youth programming. They will also help expand the youth soccer footprint across the region by building mini pitches and other infrastructure to give young people a safe place to play.
The Lexington Sporting Club Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization operated by LSC.
Every Child Deserves a Chance to Play
No kid should be kept out of Lexington SC’s youth programs because of cost.
The Sporting Scholarship Fund exists to make that possible by covering registration, equipment, travel and tournament fees that add up fast for families who can least afford them.
The aim is to grow that support every year, expanding scholarships until cost is never the reason a child doesn’t get to play.

Lexington Sporting Club plans to build at least five mini pitches across the greater Lexington area over the next five years — hard-court soccer spaces purpose-built to turn an underutilized area into a safe place to play soccer.
This is part of the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s national program, which has built more than 800 mini-pitches and reached over 900,000 young people nationwide.

Proceeds of every LSC license plate obtained in Kentucky go towards benefitting the Lexington Sporting Club Foundation’s mission of expanding soccer access to young athletes across the Lexington area.
