LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Sporting Club is set to face off against Richmond Kickers in the final of three matches the clubs will play against each other during Lexington’s inaugural professional season. The match is set for 7:00 p.m. ET and will take place in Toyota Stadium in Georgetown, Ky.
Lexington SC (6-11-6, 24 points) is coming off a 1-0 defeat at One Knox SC, which saw the club come up short in the inaugural Barrel Brawl Derby and ended a two-match winning streak. The home side will enter the contest in 10th in the league standings.
Richmond Kickers (6-9-9, 27 points) will enter the match on the back of a 3-1 defeat at home against North Carolina FC. It marked the fifth defeat in eight matches for the club and the eighth consecutive winless match. Richmond currently occupies 9th in the league standings.

GAME NOTES
Lexington SC currently holds a 0-1-1 record against Richmond Kickers thus far this season. The club suffered a 2-1 defeat on the road on May 20 before reaching a 2-2 draw on July 29 at Toyota Stadium.
Lexington SC goalkeeper Austin Causey began his professional career with Richmond Kickers in April 2021, starting in 23 games including a playoff quarter final match.
Lexington SC is one of just four clubs to have converted 100% of the penalty kicks it has been awarded, standing at a perfect 6-6 from the spot. Don Smart has been the goal scorer on five attempts while Ates Diouf scored his first on July 9.
Emiliano Terzaghi is the man to watch for the Richmond Kickers. A two-time USL League One Team of the Week member and the Week 13 Player of the Week, Terzaghi leads the Kickers with a staggering ten (10) goals on the season. Making up 32% of the club’s goal scoring by himself, Terzaghi will be a key piece of the Kickers’ offense and stopping him will be pivotal for a Lexington SC victory.
