LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Sporting Club is set to face off against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC in the final of three matches the clubs will play against each other during Lexington’s inaugural professional season. The match is set for 7:00 p.m. ET and will take place at Toyota Stadium in Georgetown, Ky.
Lexington SC (7-12-9, 30 points) is coming off a 2-2 draw against Charlotte Independence that saw the club remain 9th in the league standings. It also marked the second consecutive draw for the club.
Chattanooga Red Wolves SC (6-16-6, 24 points) will enter the match on the back of a 3-2 home loss against Union Omaha. With the loss, and the No. 11 spot in the standings, Chattanooga was eliminated from playoff contention.

GAME NOTES
Lexington SC has faced off with the Red Wolves twice before this season. The first meeting, in Tennessee, saw Soso Kim score his first goal but Lexington SC ultimately be defeated 3-1. The second, in Kentucky, saw the boys in green victorious 2-0.
Lexington SC will finish the 2023 season with an interim head coach, former assistant Nacho Novo, after former head coach Sam Stockley returned to his primary role as sporting director.
Lexington SC is seeking a late playoff push after narrowly avoiding playoff elimination against Charlotte Independence.
Chevone Marsh is the man to watch for the Red Wolves. Standing as the club’s leading goal scorer, Marsh has found the net 11 times this season. While he has yet to score against Lexington, he has proven himself a very capable offensive threat and stopping him will be pivotal for a LSC victory.
