LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Sporting Club is set to face off against Greenville Triumph SC in the second of three matches the clubs will play against each other during Lexington’s inaugural professional season. The match is set for 7:00 p.m. ET and will take place in Toyota Stadium in Georgetown, Ky.
Lexington SC (7-11-6, 27 points) is coming off a 1-0 victory over Richmond Kickers that briefly saw the club jump up to 9th in the league standings. It was the third win in the last five matches for LSC.
Greenville Triumph SC (10-8-6, 36 points) will enter the match on the back of a 2-1 defeat at home against Union Omaha. The match was the second of two the club played in one week. Greenville currently occupies 6th in the league standings.

GAME NOTES
Lexington SC has faced off with Greenville Triumph SC once before this season. Lexington SC suffered the first home loss of its inaugural season on April 22. The final score was 2-0.
Lexington SC has three former Greenville Triumph players on the roster with Cesar Murillo Jr. (2020-22), Don Smart (2021-23) and Nico Brown (2022).
Lexington SC recently announced a new signing in the form of former FC Cincinnati Academy prospect Josh Head. Head is the second player to join the club after the initial wave of signings after Cesar Murillo Jr.
Lyam MacKinnon is the man to watch for the Greenville Triumph SC. MacKinnon leads the Triumph with a staggering seven (7) goals on the season. MacKinnon will be a key piece of the Triumph offense and stopping him will be pivotal for a Lexington SC victory.
