LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Sporting Club gets back to USL League One action after a week away from competition, hosting Charlotte Independence this Saturday.
Kickoff from inside Toyota Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Lexington SC (1-4-1, 4 points) suffered a 3-1 defeat at Chattanooga Red Wolves in its last outing, leading briefly following a goal from Soso Kim before the home side promptly responded with three unanswered.
Charlotte Independence (3-1-4, 10 points) got off to a fiery start to the season before the results began to even out, being one of the last teams to suffer a loss in league play. They recently fell by a 3-1 score at home against Greenville Triumph SC.

MATCH NOTES
After drawing Richmond Kickers on opening day, Charlotte erupted for three straight wins including over Appalachian FC in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The team would then suffer its first ever loss in the same cup competition against USL Championship side Charleston Battery.
Lexington SC has scored five goals this season from five separate players, including Kim, Don Smart, Khalid Balogun, Nico Brown and Owen Green.
Austin Causey has made five starts for Lexington in goal during USL League One play, surrendering eight goals.
