GAME NOTES
Lexington SC has faced off with NC Hailstorm FC twice before this season. The first meeting, in Georgetown, finished in a 2-2 draw after a brace from Ates Diouf. The second, in Colorado, was won by Lexington SC after a hat trick by Diouf.
Last time Lexington SC traveled to Windsor the club earned a 4-3 victory on the back of an impressive performance by Ates Diouf. To date, the win in Colorado marks the only road win of the season for the boys in green.
Lexington SC recently announced a new signing in the form of former FC Cincinnati Academy prospect Josh Head. Head is the second player to join the club after the initial wave of signings after Cesar Murillo Jr.
Trevor Amann is the man to watch for the NC Hailstorm FC. A prolific goal scorer, Amann recently scored his 19th goal of the season, breaking the league record for single season goal total by a single player. Of those 19, two came against Lexington SC in Colorado on August 5. A massive threat on the attack, stopping Amann will be critical if Lexington hopes to earn a second road victory in Windsor.
