LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Sporting Club hits the road to travel to Breese Stevens Field in Madison, Wi., on Thursday where it will face off against Forward Madison FC. The match is scheduled for 8 p.m. EST.
Lexington SC (3-5-5, 14 points) is coming off a 2-2 draw against the league leading North Carolina FC in Cary, NC., which continued a five-match unbeaten streak. LSC is currently 9th in the league standings.
Forward Madison FC (5-3-4, 19 points) is coming off a 1-0 victory at Richmond Kickers which marked the second consecutive shutout victory for the Flamingos. Forward Madison currently stands at 5th in the league standings.

Lexington SC has faced off with Forward Madison FC once already this season in the club’s first home match of the season. The match ended 0-0.

Christian Chaney is the man to watch for Forward Madison FC. A three-time USL Team of the Week member, Chaney leads the Flamingos with four goals on the season. He’s also created 10 scoring chances. Looking ahead to Thursday’s match, Chaney will play a key role for Forward Madison.
