LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Sporting Club will host its third consecutive home game at Toyota Stadium on Saturday against Greenville Triumph SC. The match marks Lexington’s fifth fixture of the season.
Lexington (1-2-1, 4 pts) will be seeking a win streak for the first time in its history after taking down South Georgia Tormenta FC last Saturday.
Greenville Triumph SC (1-3-0, 3 pts) was the final USL League One club to earn its first win of the season, defeating CV Fuego FC on April 19.

MATCH NOTES
Owen Green was named USL League One Player of the Week for his efforts in Lexington’s win against Tormenta. He scored the match-winner in the 71st minute to go along with several outstanding defensive plays. Nico Brown, who scored Lexington’s opening goal, was placed on the Team of the Week Bench.
The Triumph had scored one goal all season before exploding for three goals on Wednesday. The club sits 12th in the table after finishing second last season.
Taking on USL Championship squad Phoenix Rising in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, the club was defeated 1-0, bowing out in the second round. Last season, the club defeated USL Championship squad Oakland Roots SC in the Cup before falling to MLS squad Charlotte FC.
Lexington SC has seen four players—Don Smart, Nico Brown, Owen Green and Khalid Balogun—score goals in league play.
Three of Lexington’s players—Smart, Brown and Cesar Murillo Jr.—have each spent time with Greenville Triumph SC.
