LEXINGTON, Ky. — It is a rematch of last season’s semifinal playoff match Friday night when the Lexington Sporting Club women host Dallas Trinity FC to kick off the weekend.
After losing all four matches to Dallas during the 2024/25 season, Lexington flipped the script during its title-winning 2025/26 campaign. The Gals in Green went 2W-1L-2D against the Trinity, including a 2-0 shutout in the playoffs to launch LSC into the Gainbridge Super League Final.
In those five meetings a season ago, Lexington outscored Dallas 11-5 and went 2W-1L-0D at The Stables with a +6 goal differential.
The Dallas destroyers last season were Catherine Barry and Sarah Griffith. Barry scored three times against the Trinity to lead Lexington, while Griffith’s three assists led the club in the series.
Lexington is fresh off a 1-0 shutout over Sporting Club Jacksonville, a victory that bumped its record to 2W-2L-0D on the young season. McKenzie Weinert scored the lone goal of the match, her first of the season and the 12th of her Lexington career to move her into second place in LSC women’s history. She trails only Barry, who has 18 goals to her name.
On Tuesday, goalkeeper Ryan Campbell was named the league’s Player of the Week for her five-save performance at JAX. Campbell’s save percentage this season now sits at 82.4%, the second-best in the Gainbridge Super League. She joined Addie McCain (Week 1) as Lexington players to receive the Player of the Week award this season.

SCOUTING DALLAS
Dallas Trinity FC comes in as winners of its last three matches to move to 3W-2L-1D in six outings. Jasmine Hamid has scored in all three wins, increasing her goal tally to four on the season to lead the club.
The Texas side’s seven goals from open play this season lead the Gainbridge Super League, as do its eight conceded from open play. Dallas’ four goals inside the first 15 minutes of matches also lead the league. To this point in the season, LSC has not conceded until first-half stoppage time.
Camryn Lancaster’s two assists top the club. Goalkeeper Neeku Purcell, who joined Dallas in the offseason from the NWSL’s Seattle Reign FC, has posted a 61.9% save percentage in six appearances with one clean sheet.
