LEXINGTON, Ky. — Lexington Sporting Club has recalled midfielder Nicole Vernis from her loan spell at Fort Lauderdale United FC.
Vernis started every match for Fort Lauderdale to begin the season, tallying six appearances and 506 minutes played. She has one goal to her credit and currently ranks inside the top 20 in goals added, per American Soccer Analysis, in the Gainbridge Super League with 0.35.
Additionally, Vernis has posted a perfect successful tackle percentage (6/6) on the season while tallying eight interceptions and six clearances.
Vernis is available for selection for head coach Kosuke Kimura ahead of Lexington’s match vs. Dallas Trinity FC on Friday, Sept. 25.
