LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Sporting Club and Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii have entered a multi-year partnership, it was announced today.
Bad Ass Coffee—now the” Official Coffee of Lexington Sporting Club”— will notably serve as the first ever front-of-kit sponsor for Lexington’s United Soccer League (USL) W League uniform. The USL W League is a pre-professional women’s league that kicks off May 10.
“This was a natural fit for us, and we couldn’t be happier to have Bad Ass Coffee partner with our Club, and specifically our USL W League team,” said Vince Gabbert, President of Lexington SC. “Bad Ass Coffee has fueled this Club for a while, in fact, since many of us frequent their store every day of the week. Their product is fantastic, and the people are even better as partners.”
Founded in 1989 on the Big Island, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii has two locations in Lexington, serving American-grown, premium coffee and other quality products.
“This is a unique and wonderful opportunity for our brand,” said Bryce Walker of Bad Ass Coffee. “I also think it’s very fitting that we have this title. The coaches and several front office individuals have supported our local store in Beaumont since we opened. It was a place for them to meet and map their future goals. During this time, I’ve gotten to know some of them and really enjoy the conversations and insight of Lexington SC.”
He added: “Women’s soccer is so popular and to be attached to helping young women and even our youth girls get their chance to shine is incredibly important. These young women epitomize the meaning Bad Ass every day on the pitch. They will be ‘trailblazers’ in central Kentucky and role models for so many other young women and girls.”
Fans can support Lexington’s USL W League squad by purchasing tickets here. The first chance to see the Bad Ass Coffee kits in action is this evening at home against Kings Hammer.
