TAMPA, Fla. – Lexington SC defender Kaelon Fox was named to the USL League One Week 23 Team of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
Lexington SC was defeated 1-0 away at One Knox SC which ended a two-match winning streak for the club. The result also saw the club come up short in the inaugural Barrel Brawl Derby.
Fox recorded two clearances and one tackle on defense while playing all 90 minutes in the effort. He also completed 64 passes, over a 90% success rate on both sides of the pitch. Fox also won two duels in the match.
Fox is no stranger to the Team of the Week, being the first player on the roster to earn the honor back in the first week of the season.
Next up for Lexington SC the boys in green will return home on August 26th to face off against Richmond Kickers.
