
Hafferty joined Las Vegas Lights FC following an outstanding season with Austin FC II in MLS NEXT Pro, where he played a pivotal role in the team’s championship-winning campaign. He was voted to the league’s Best XI after making 31 appearances across the regular season and playoffs. Hafferty demonstrated his defensive prowess with 40 tackles won at a 64.5 percent success rate, 33 interceptions, and 172 recoveries, solidifying his reputation as one of the league’s premier defenders.
Previously, Hafferty made 10 appearances in the USL Championship for Tacoma Defiance after being selected by Seattle Sounders FC in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft. His professional journey began with Inter Miami CF, marking a steady rise through the ranks of American soccer.
