LEXINGTON, KY – Lexington Sporting Club is pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Elizabeth Moore to its USL Super League squad ahead of the 2025 Spring Season. Moore, a talented and dynamic player, will strengthen the center of the park as the team continues its inaugural campaign.
Moore joins Lexington SC following a standout collegiate career at the University of North Carolina, where she was a key contributor to the Tar Heels. Her leadership and technical ability helped North Carolina compete at the highest level, with her contributions instrumental in the team’s success.
Beyond her collegiate career, Moore brings valuable professional experience, having played for Shelbourne Football Club in Ireland from August 2023 to December 2023, and Fortuna Hjørring in Denmark from January 2023 to June 2023. Her time in these competitive European leagues has further developed her defensive skills and tactical awareness, preparing her for the challenges of the USL Super League.
Elizabeth Moore brings a strong presence and composure to the midfield unit. Her experience, work ethic, and skill set align perfectly with the team’s goals.
Moore’s versatility allows her to play multiple roles in midfield. Her collegiate and professional experience, combined with a disciplined and aggressive playing style, makes her a valuable addition to the team as Lexington SC aims to build a competitive roster in its debut Super League season.
