LEXINGTON, KY – Lexington Sporting Club has announced the signing of winger and attacking midfielder Braudilio Rodrigues to it’s USL Championship Men’s Team ahead of the 2025 season, pending league and federation approval. Rodrigues joins the club following a stint with Seattle Sounders FC in 2024, having previously played for Tacoma Defiance, the MLS club’s second team, in 2023.
Rodrigues, a native of Guinea-Bissau, brings a dynamic attacking presence to Lexington SC, with his pace, creativity, and versatility making him a valuable addition to the squad. His experience in Major League Soccer and the MLS NEXT Pro system will further strengthen the club’s offensive capabilities as it prepares for the challenges of the USL Championship.
“I am very happy to join Lexington Sporting Club,” said Rodrigues. “It’s an organization with a winning project and an exciting way of playing. I can’t wait to contribute to the club’s journey and be part of something special that is evolving and making a significant impact on the field and in the community.”
Lexington SC continues to build a competitive roster under Head Coach Terry Boss, with Rodrigues set to play a key role in the club’s attacking strategy. The team will kick off its inaugural USL Championship campaign on March 8, 2025, at Lexington SC stadium.
