LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Sporting Club announced the departure of Daniel Chica from the men’s USL League One roster on Thursday evening.
Chica, a defender, was a mid-season signing for Lexington after initially being a trialist.
Prior to Lexington, Chica suited up for Loudoun United in the USL Championship after a collegiate soccer career with George Mason at the NCAA Division-I level.
During his time in Lexington, Chica played in five matches, starting in two, and logged 233 minutes on the pitch.
The Leesburg, Virginia, native was the second roster departure for Lexington SC after forward Khalid Balogun departed on loan for the remainder of the season to Miami FC in the USL Championship.
