Latif Blessing signed with Lexington Sporting Club on August 25, 2025.

Blessing hails from Accra, Ghana, where his energy and quick feet made him stand out as a young soccer player. His breakthrough came with Liberty Professionals in the Ghana Premier League, where he became the league’s top scorer in 2016 with 17 goals and earned recognition as the nation’s Best Player of the Year. These performances from Blessing caught the eye of international scouts, which cleared his path to professional soccer in the United States.

In 2017, Blessing joined Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer, and his strong debut helped the club secure the U.S. Open Cup Title. Blessing’s career took another leap when Los Angeles FC selected him in the MLS Expansion Draft. With over 5 seasons with Los Angeles FC, his role with the club became essential as he made 140 league appearances.

His time with the club included a Supporters’ Shield in 2019 and an unforgettable double in 2022 when LAFC lifted both the Shield and MLS Cup. He continued his journey with MLS in Houston and New England, where he remained a dominant presence in midfield and attack.

Blaine Ferri was signed to Lexington SC’s USL Championship roster on July 31 2025.

Initially acquired on loan from CF Montréal on March 20, 2025, Michael Adedokun signed permanently with Lexington Sporting Club on August 22, 2025.

Michael Adedokun joins the team from CF Montreal. A dynamic midfielder with exceptional pace, technical skill, and defensive awareness, Adedokun adds valuable depth to the club’s midfield as they approach a crucial point in the season.

Adedokun’s playing career includes stints with Flint City Bucks, Dutch Dayton Lions, and Fort Wayne FC in USL League Two. He competed at the collegiate level for the University of Dayton and Ohio State University before joining CF Montréal as his first professional club in 2025 through the MLS SuperDraft. With experience across multiple competitive environments, Adedokun is poised to make an immediate impact with Lexington Sporting Club.

Before his time with Lexington, Cáceres honed his skills during a standout collegiate career at Marquette University, where he earned All-BIG EAST Second Team honors three consecutive seasons from 2021 to 2023. Known for his offensive creativity and playmaking ability, he tallied multiple goals and assists, including a career-high four goals in the 2022 season. Cáceres capped his collegiate journey as a graduate student at UCLA, where he made an immediate impact, scoring two goals in his debut to lead the Bruins to victory.

Before his collegiate success, Cáceres developed as a member of the Houston Dynamo Academy from 2013 to 2019, earning the prestigious title of Houston Dynamo Academy Player of the Year in 2019. His international experience includes a call-up to the U23 El Salvador National Team, showcasing his ability to perform on a global stage.

Nick Firmino signed with Lexington Sporting Club on January 6, 2025.

Before joining the club, Firmino began his professional journey in USL League One with the New England Revolution, signing a Homegrown Player Contract in November 2018. He gained valuable experience with New England Revolution II, making his professional debut on July 25, 2020, and scoring his first professional goal in a thrilling 3-3 draw against North Texas SC on August 15, 2020. His time in New England laid the foundation for a promising career.

Firmino joined Union Omaha for the 2021 season. The following year, he advanced to the USL Championship side Atlanta United 2, where he showcased his talents and versatility as a midfielder. In 2023, Firmino achieved a career milestone when he signed two short-term deals with MLS’s Atlanta United FC, making his league debut on June 21 against New York City FC. Firmino marked the occasion with a memorable stoppage-time goal to secure a dramatic 2-2 draw. 

Firmino’s time in Atlanta was particularly impactful. During the 2023 season, he signed with Atlanta United 2 and emerged as a standout performer in the team’s inaugural MLS NEXT Pro season. Firmino led ATL UTD 2 with 16 goals and six assists while starting 25 of his 27 appearances. His 16 goals set a new single-season club record, finishing fourth overall in the league, while his combined 22 goals and assists tied for second in MLS NEXT Pro. His outstanding performances earned him several individual accolades, including MLS NEXT Pro Best XI honors, mid-season MVP, Player of the Month for June, and Player of the Matchday for Matchday 11. Firmino also finished the season as an MVP finalist and led ATL UTD 2 in shots (76), shots on goal (33), and accurate passes (1,122), while ranking second in successful dribbles (58). 

On October 16, 2023, Firmino’s exceptional form earned him a First Team contract with Atlanta United through the 2026 season, effective January 1, 2024. His achievements underscore his ability to excel at the highest levels of competition and his readiness to contribute immediately to Lexington Sporting Club. 

Firmino’s dynamic playing style, vision, and composure on the ball will add depth and creativity to Lexington Sporting Club’s midfield as the team embarks on its inaugural USL Championship season. His journey through top-tier leagues reflects his determination and passion for the game, qualities that resonate with the values of Lexington Sporting Club.

Sofiane Djeffal joined LSC on January 6, 2025.

Born in Nantes, France, Djeffal began his soccer journey at the prestigious FC Nantes youth academy before making the transition to collegiate soccer at Oregon State University. During his time with the Beavers, he earned multiple honors, including Pac-12 Player of the Year in 2021 and three consecutive All-Pac-12 First Team selections, establishing himself as one of the top collegiate players in the nation.

In 2022, Djeffal was selected 36th overall in the MLS SuperDraft by D.C. United, where he made an immediate impact with 28 appearances in his rookie season. Following his time in Washington, Djeffal was selected as the first pick in the MLS Re-Entry Draft by Austin FC in 2023. During his stint with Los Verdes, he appeared in nine matches across all competitions, including one start in the prestigious CONCACAF Champions League. There, he played alongside fellow Oregon State alumnus Charlie Asensio, further proving his ability to contribute on major stages. Djeffal also played with Orange County Soccer Club, USL Championship team, recording 882 minutes and scoring the game-winning goal against FC Tulsa.  

In 2024, Djeffal joined San Antonio FC in the USL Championship, where he played a key role in the club’s midfield, showcasing his ability to control games with precision passing, defensive reliability, and tactical intelligence. 

Reflecting on his move to Lexington Sporting Club, Djeffal shared his excitement: 
“I’m really excited about being part of this ambitious project. Can’t wait to meet everybody and build something special that will inspire and impact the community positively on and off the field.”

Midence, 22, joined the club following a successful spell with Central Valley Fuego FC in USL League One. Former USL League One Young Player of the Year, recognized for his technical skill, vision, and relentless work rate, Midence brings a wealth of talent and leadership to the Lexington SC midfield as the club prepares for its inaugural USL Championship season. 

Midence’s excellence on the pitch was recently acknowledged when he was named to the 2024 USL League One All-League Second Team. This accolade highlights his pivotal role in the league, where his creativity and playmaking ability made him a key contributor for his previous club. 

Lexington SC’s Head Coach Terry Boss expressed enthusiasm about the addition of Midence, stating: “Alfredo is a top-class midfielder with proven ability at this level. His recognition as a USL League One All-League Second Team player is a testament to his talent and impact. We believe his skill set and work ethic will play a key role in building our team’s identity and success.” 

Expressing his excitement about joining Lexington SC, Midence shared: “Signing with Lexington Sporting Club fills me with incredible excitement! It represents hope and the thrilling promise of a fantastic season ahead. This is just the start of an amazing journey for my career and personal growth, and I can’t wait to see what bigger opportunities lie ahead!” 

Devon “Speedy” Williams signed with Lexington Sporting Club on December 12, 2024.

A native of Jamaica, Williams began his playing career with Real Mona FC before moving to the United States in 2014 to play college soccer at Robert Morris University. During his four years with the Colonials, he made 71 appearances, scored six goals, and tallied 15 assists while wearing the No. 10 shirt.

Williams turned professional in 2015 with New York Red Bulls II, where he made an immediate impact in USL play helping them capture the USL title the following season. In 2017, he joined Louisville City FC, becoming a mainstay in midfield and helping lead the club to back-to-back USL Championship titles in 2017 and 2018.

After four successful seasons in Louisville, Williams moved to Miami FC in 2021, where he continued to shine, earning USL Championship Player of the Week honors and playing a key role in midfield. He signed with Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC ahead of the 2023 season and was instrumental in the club’s 2024 USL Championship title run.

Now over a decade into his career, Williams is the winningest player in USL Championship history and is known for his leadership, reading of the game, consistency, and ability to control a match from midfield.
