Before Lexington Sporting Club
Originally from West Covina, California, Perez began her soccer journey at West Covina High School, where she led her team to a league championship as a freshman. Alongside her high school success, she gained valuable international experience with the United States Women’s Youth National Teams, earning call-ups at the U16, U17, U18, and U20 levels. Her most recent national appearance came in 2019 with the U20s in a friendly against Japan.
Perez went on to play NCAA Division I soccer at Cal State-Long Beach (Long Beach State), where she was teammates with fellow Lexington SC signee Elysia Laramie. Although her true freshman season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she returned in 2021 and immediately made an impact — starting 17 of 18 matches, playing a full 90 minutes in 15 games, and earning Big West Freshman of the Year and Big West All-Conference First Team honors.
In 2022, she continued her dominant form, starting all 21 matches and playing over 99% of the team’s total minutes. She was again named to the Big West All-Conference First Team and earned United Soccer Coaches All-West Region Third Team recognition.
Perez repeated both honors in 2023, leading her team in minutes for the third consecutive season and starting all 20 matches.
After a standout collegiate career, Perez chose to forgo her final year of eligibility to pursue professional soccer full-time.
In 2024, she signed with Lexington Sporting Club, bringing national team experience, consistency, and top-level collegiate pedigree to the back line.
