The Lexington Sporting Club Pro Girls Academy teams will be part of an elite player development program and is intended for top level regional and national level players. The program is meant to develop players who will go on to play soccer at the highest levels, including college soccer, for youth national teams and with professional organizations.
All aspects of the program are conducted professionally and under the guidance of the Lexington Sporting Club technical staff in order to foster a continuous means of play and style throughout the club.
Players are identified for potential inclusion in the program through numerous pathways, including scouting and coach recommendations.

Eligible Players

OPEN ID Sessions will be offered during May for interested player both inside and outside Lexington Sporting Club.

Lexington Sporting Club Pro Girls Academy is a fully funded scholarship soccer academy that is designed to develop professional and collegiate soccer players. Lexington Sporting Club Girls Youth Academy participates in the Elite Club National Leage.
The ECNL was founded as a result of grassroots collaboration and innovation driven by youth soccer leaders all around the country, the ECNL quickly rose to national prominence – and ultimately to be the top level of competition and player development in the country.
From inception, the ECNL consistently developed in alignment with the needs of its member clubs, always seeking opportunities to lead and provide more, no matter the challenge or adversity.
Unrivaled numbers of female players, of constantly improving quality, began moving on to the collegiate, professional, and national team levels as the ECNL impact changed youth soccer.

The Lexington Sporting Club Girls Pro Girls Academy falls under the Lexington Sporting Club Youth programming for girls (U7-U19). Players in the Lexington Sporting Club Pro Girls Academy that excel have the opportunity to sign an Academy contract for the Lexington Sporting Club Super League team while maintaining amateur status.
Lexington Sporting Club Girls Youth Academy teams will share a similar methodology and curriculum with the Lexington Sporting Club USL Super League team that is designed to prepare young players for the next step in the player pathway.
In the inaugural 2025-26 season, Lexington Sporting Club will launch with the U14 Girls.
Yes. The plan is to expand the Lexington Sporting Club Pro Girls Academy to include U16 in the 26-27 season and the U19 in the 27-29 season.
Lexington Sporting Club Pro Girls Academy teams will play against ECNL league games in the Ohio Valley conference. ECNL Showcase are both regional and nationally.
Lexington Sporting Club Pro Girls Academy players will wear uniforms and training gear provided by hummel.
Lexington Sporting Club Pro Girls Academy’s mission is to develop leaders both on and off the field. We are building a rich off-field development program that can include things like strength training, mental health, nutritional education and more.
