Daniel Wu signed with Lexington Sporting Club on January 30, 2025.
A native of Cary, North Carolina, Wu came through the North Carolina FC academy system, where he served as team captain for two years.
He continued his development at Georgetown University, making 59 appearances for the Hoyas from 2019-2022. Wu earned Big East Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Big East honors in 2022, cementing his place as one of the top collegiate defenders in the country.
Following his standout college career, Wu signed his first professional contract with Greenville Triumph SC in USL League One. Across the 2023 and 2024 seasons, he made 32 appearances and scored one goal, showcasing his consistency and composure on the back line.
