OUR STORY:
“Our mission is to support Lexington Sporting Club through thick and thin – win, lose, or draw. We knew there was always a huge soccer following in the region, so we decided to make a supporters’ group for the new team. We felt like it was time we had our own fan group to follow the club and sport we love so much. Anyone is welcome to join us on game day to support our club.”
ABOUT OUR NAME:
“Being in the horse capital of the world, we wanted to have a name that reflected both, the area’s love of horses, and our role as a supporters’ group. After much deliberation, we decided on “The Railbirds” – a name that worked with both of our goals. A “railbird” is a person who hangs on the fence of a horse track, cheering for their horse, and helping to give that final push across the finish line.”
