Sarah Griffith signed with Lexington Sporting Club on July 31, 2025.
A native of Naperville, Illinois, Griffith played collegiate soccer at Purdue University from 2017 to 2021. During her time there, she was named the 2021 Big Ten Forward of the Year, earned All-Big Ten First Team honors, and was selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-America Second Team. She also set a single-season program record with 16 goals in the 2021 season.
Griffith began her professional career after being selected by the Chicago Red Stars in the third round of the 2022 NWSL Draft. In November 2022, she went on loan to the Newcastle Jets for the A-League Women season, returning early in February 2023 to prepare for the upcoming NWSL campaign. She also had a brief stint with Calgary Wild FC in the Northern Super League before coming to Lexington.
