Sargeant signed a Homegrown Contract with the Dynamo in January 2024 after progressing through the club’s academy system. The Houston native spent the 2024 season with Dynamo 2 in MLS NEXT Pro, making 26 appearances (23 starts) and contributing both offensively and defensively, including scoring his first professional goal against North Texas SC. Prior to his professional career, Sargeant was a four-year standout in the Dynamo Academy, earning Player of the Season honors for the U17 squad in 2019-20. He later attended Georgetown University, where he played 60 matches (47 starts), recording four goals and 15 assists while earning multiple BIG EAST accolades.
Sargeant joins Lexington Sporting Club as the team continues to build its roster ahead of the 2025 season. His defensive versatility and experience at both the collegiate and professional levels add valuable depth to the squad.
